Get ready for game day with this RECIPE for Smokey Honey Balsamic Wings. Don’t have a grill or it’s raining? No problem. Our BoCo Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil brings that delicious grilled flavor right indoors.
3 cloves garlic - chopped
1/4 cup BoCo Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil
1/3 cup BoCo 18 Year Traditional Balsamic
1/4 cup honey
24 chicken wing pieces(drums and flats)
1/2 tsp cornstarch
S+P
Method:
Add the marinade ingredients to a bowl and whisk together. Pour over the chicken wings and toss to fully coat. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Heat your oven to 415* F. Place the wings on a nonstick or parchment lined baking pan leaving space between them and season with some s+p. Bake for 30-35 min or until fully cooked.
While baking, add the remaining marinade to a pot and cook for 15 min. Create a slurry with the cornstarch and 1 tsp water and then add that to the pot. Boil until it has thickened and then brush the glaze onto the wings and bake for another two minutes.
The best thing about these next recipes is that it’s actually two football season recipes in one - make this whipped feta dip to serve with pita and vegetables, then reserve a bit to make the basis of the ranch for your wings. You’ve got yourself a complete spread for game day!
